Scot has always written Science Fiction and Fantasy Fiction. Indeed, from the moment he learned to scribble in cursive, he began to split his time between playing with toys and writing tales of their plastic adventures. In time, he went on to earn a degree in English and to make his living via the keyboard. _____________________________________________________ Scot has had stories published in Pandora, Strategy Plus, and Tomorrow Magazine and his short story, “Riches Like Dust,” was selected for the Writers of the Future anthology, Volume VI in 1990, becoming the springboard for a career in computer game development as writer, project manager and voice director for several award winning games. He is now Publisher and Editor-in-Chief for DreamForge Magazine. _____________________________________________________
Mark Gallacher is a Scottish writer who lives in Denmark with his wife and two sons. His stories have been shortlisted twice for the Fish Short Story Prize, longlisted (final 25 stories) for the 2017 Retreat West Short Story Competition, published in New Writing Scotland, an anthology that publishes the best of new writing by emerging and established Scottish writers and in print and online magazines (Chapman, Barcelona Review, etc.) Poetry published in print and online (Acumen, Monday Night, Magma, Orbis, 3:A.M. Magazine, etc.) Newly published or forthcoming in 2019: Causeway - Magazine of Irish and Scottish Writing (Aberdeen University Press) Dark Lane Anthology: Volume Seven (Dark Lane Books) Flash: The International Short-Short Story Magazine (University of Chester) Mark has recently completed his science-fiction short novel called ‘Chronicles Saved From The Fire’, for which he seeks agency representation/a publisher.
