A kid who grew up in the 70s and 80s, Michael was the kind of kid Spielberg once made movies about and Netflix makes retro shows about today. A nerd, a sci-fi/horror fan, D&D player, and a video game addict. His big break came in 1994 with a classified ad: Fantasy artists needed to make video games. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. He would go on to work with Scot and Jane Noel (yes, the same who founded Dreamforge mag) for several years to come and was the launching point for a career in video games. 24 years later, still making games as a UX and UI designer/artist (dual role spec) he is overjoyed at the opportunity to be able to collaborate with the folks who gave him his big break. His passion for pixel art never faded, but now he enjoys voxels: https://www.artstation.com/mikenart
