"A Business Trip to Natchez" tells the story of a man from Mars whose mission is to recover a ship that has crashed on Earth. Quickly taken into custody, he ends up in a prison and assigned to repay a debt through labor. He soon finds that his strangely beautiful prison is located in the vibrant, eco-conscious city of Natchez. His initial disdain for Earth transforms as he encounters its lush environments and community-focused citizens, challenging his preconceptions and changing his perspective on what constitutes a primitive or advanced society.
