She's an active SFWA member with multiple short story publications. Her debut novel “A Borrowed Hell” was the winner of the 2018 Colorado Book Award for Science Fiction/Fantasy and While Gods Sleep is a current finalist. Lif Strand
Being Me

Lif Strand lives in New Mexico, USA, called the Land of Enchantment for good reason: the place practically demands spending time in other realities.  Lif writes of the place where what is meets what could be as if it were fiction.

Lif worked as a freelance writer for government entities and non-profits for the better part of two decades, thereby proving to herself that she could write to any tune she needed to.  Now she listens for the whispers of her Muse – less profitable but infinitely more rewarding.  Lif is working on sequels for two as yet unpublished novels.  In her spare time she blogs about music and magic, creates fabric art, hikes, and takes photos -- always with an eye out for what could be.

Lif's musings can be found at her website.  Follow her on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest

Lucy Stone
Haunting the Present

Lucy Stone is a freelance writer, lexicographer, and mother of one. Her work has appeared in Electric Spec, BFS Horizons, Unfading Daydream, Every Day Fiction, Flash Fiction Magazine, Tigershark, and Between These Shores. She has also completed a lavish, meandering Harry Potter fanfic entitled Sympathetic Magic

Her major preoccupations are folklore, romance, and mental illness. Her stories contain many villains, but the ultimate one is usually despair, and she will fight it with every word she writes – even prepositions.
She studied at Oxford, with which she has a love-hate relationship, and now works on a dictionary, which has a love-hate relationship with her. She lives in Banbury with her partner and her three-year-old son, and writes stories in her head when she really ought to be doing other things.

Illustrators
Cassandre Bolan
Illustrator for Wrath of a Lightweight

Cassandre paints diverse, beautifully human, real and strong women in the epic contexts of myths and fairytales.  Her passions are the sacred feminine, matriarchal societies, pre-civilization goddess worship, women's studies, and peeing alone once in awhile (She hase kids!).  She have worked largely on RPG illustrations of kick-ass women and fantasy book covers. but have also taken on children's books, digital murals, and concept art.
